The Skyliner office building in Warsaw, owned by the Karimpol Group, will be home to Wento. One of the largest renewable energy developers in Poland will occupy almost 1,500 m2 of space.
Wento has been present on the Polish market since 2011 and is actively involved in the energy transition underway here. In 2021, the company became part of the international corporation Equinor (formerly Statoil), one of the largest players in the global energy market. Wento develops, builds and operates onshore renewable energy projects. Since 2015, in addition to developing wind farms, Wento has also been successfully involved in photovoltaic projects, which will play a key role in Poland’s sustainable development over the next decade, providing clean and cheap energy. Wento has signed more than 750 leases to date while the total capacity of projects in its portfolio is more than 1,700 MW.
“At Wento, we strive to ensure that what we do causes no harm to people, the environment and the communities we live in. We follow these values in our day-to-day work, as demonstrated by our choice of office space matching our vision of responsible business. We were looking for a place that would meet our expectations and provide the best working conditions for the team while being friendly to the environment. We found all these qualities in Skyliner. The investment perfectly fits in with our beliefs and mission, meets the standards of sustainable development, offers an attractive location, and provides high-quality space where our team will feel safe and comfortable,” said Wojciech Cetnarski, President of the Management Board at Wento Sp. z o.o.
“We are delighted that our new tenant, which relies exclusively on reliable, modern and ecological solutions, has recognised Skyliner for the same qualities and chosen it for its headquarters. We have attached great importance to ensuring that our flagship investment is as friendly as possible to people and the environment. This is confirmed, among other things, by BREEAM certification as Excellent and by the green certificate from innogy Polska. As a result, we can be sure that 100% of the energy used in the Skyliner comes from renewable energy sources. We hope that working in such an environment will give the Wento team a lot of good energy,” said Harald Jeschek, Managing Partner at Karimpol Group.
Wento’s team will start work at its new premises in Skyliner in March 2023. The tenant will occupy one floor, i.e., nearly 1,500 m2 of office space. The leasing process was brokered by CBRE.
Other tenants in the building include MicroStrategy, Dom Maklerski X-Trade Brokers (XTB), DXC Technology and Luxoft, Colonnade Insurance S.A. Poland Branch, iTechArt, Booksy, Bolt, Onwelo, Capital.com and Tarkett, as well as the global flexible office space operator Mindspace, which will open its second Polish location here in spring 2023. The office building is also home to MEET & EAT, a restaurant owned by the Nutri Mind Group, and the Gorąco Polecam. Smaki z Piekarni bakery and café (Enata Bread).
