Last weekend, Skyliner became not only a venue for sporting competition but also a place of great solidarity. For the third time, the charity stair run Skyliner Everest Run was held in the office building owned by the Karimpol Group at Rondo Daszyńskiego. The event attracted a record-breaking 378 participants who took on the challenge of climbing 2,310 floors of the Warsaw skyscraper—the equivalent of Mount Everest’s height.

This year’s edition, which took place on March 15-16, saw the participation of 258 individual runners and 30 four-person teams. Over 24 hours, these brave athletes pushed themselves to achieve the best possible results. The fastest man was Krzysztof Krygier, who completed the 2,310-floor distance in a record time of 10 hours and 39 minutes, finishing the challenge after 56 ascents to Skyliner’s 42nd floor. Among women, Klaudia Krajewska once again claimed the best result, just as she did last year—this time completing 101 ascents to the top of the office building. The record holder for the most ascents, Marcin Zając, reached the 42nd floor an incredible 107 times. Among the participants who took on the challenge was also the oldest runner, 77-year-old Markus Fajer.

It is fantastic that our office building has become a place where such an extraordinary physical activity is combined with charitable support. “This year, thanks to the Everest Run event, we were able to purchase an ambulance defibrillator, a cardiology chair with a stair climber function, and equipment for ventilation and airway management. Every year, the organization of this race provides tremendous support to the activities of the Medical Support Group,” commented Jan Stachurski, Deputy Director of the RK Rescue Support Foundation.

Skyliner Everest Run 2025 turned out to be a record-breaking edition, attracting many running enthusiasts engaged in charitable efforts. The next edition of this unique event is already planned for next year, and the organizers hope to break even more records.

On March 15, the next edition of Skyliner Everest Run will take place – one of the most challenging and unique running events in Warsaw. Registration is now open. Participants will have 24 hours to conquer 2,310 floors of the office building at Rondo Daszyńskiego – the equivalent of Mount Everest’s height (8,849 m above sea level).

This year’s event will mark the third edition of the run in Warsaw’s Skyliner building, owned by Karimpol Group, and the ninth edition overall. Last year, the event attracted a record 235 participants. The best result was achieved by Bartłomiej Całka, who climbed an impressive height of 15,900.5 meters, completing 98 ascents to Skyliner’s 42nd floor. Among women, Klaudia Krajewska triumphed with 74 ascents.

Skyliner Everest Run 2025 will start on March 15 at 9:00 a.m. and will last up to 24 hours. Participants – just like in previous years – can compete individually or in 4-person teams. They will begin in six groups, starting at 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. respectively. Starting groups are selected during registration on a “first come, first served” basis (subject to available spots in each group). Regardless of the starting group, the event for all participants concludes on Sunday, March 16, at 9:00 a.m.

The registration fee – a minimum of 250 PLN per participant – will be donated to support the purchase of medical equipment, helping the Rescue Support Foundation RK achieve its vital statutory goals.

– This is a unique event that demonstrates how we can achieve extraordinary goals together – both athletic and charitable. Thanks to the involvement of participants, partners, and volunteers, we can actively support rescue operations and assist those in need, says Michał Janas, director of the Rescue Support Foundation RK.

The race route will once again culminate on Skyliner’s 42nd floor, in the Look Up conference and event space, offering a stunning panoramic view of Warsaw. Helping participants in their challenge will be the fast KONE elevators, moving at a speed of 7 m/s. These elevators will transport participants from the top floors to the ground, significantly improving efficiency and comfort during the competition.

Skyliner II, the sister skyscraper of the office complex in the heart of the capital city’s Wola district owned by Karimpol Polska, has a strong foundation. The work on the building’s foundation has been completed. The general contractor Warbud SA has put in place the last section of the concrete foundation slab at a depth of 22 metres. Work on the underground structure is entering the next stage. The construction of the superstructure will begin once the building, whose foundation has been placed using the top-down method, has reached ground zero.

Skyliner II is being built under demanding conditions of dense urban development. According to the top-down method, the floor slabs have been placed on ground level before earthworks were carried out floor after floor down to the target foundation level. The floor slabs are supported by temporary columns and anchored in diaphragm walls which they brace to ensure stability. The building’s foundation consists of a slab 1.9 m to 4.9 m thick as well as 4,700 m3 of low-carbon concrete mix. The load of the slab is largely transferred to the ground by means of barrettes which reach almost 39 metres below the ground-level structure. Nearly 40 people worked on the construction of the Skyliner II basement floors: steel fixers, carpenters, foundation slab insulation specialists, and underground equipment operators.

“Skyliner II draws on the experience gained during the construction of the first tower, which means that modifications used in the layout of the barrettes and bracing slabs are even better suited to address the challenges of a project at this location. Each stage of construction requires careful logistical planning, which includes not only deliveries but also the organisation of the supporting infrastructure and the scheduling of construction crews. We are proud that the works are advancing according to schedule,” said Szymon Zduńczyk, Managing Director and Member of the Management Board at Karimpol Polska.

Due to the proximity of the Daszyńskiego Roundabout with its heavy traffic and the presence of the tenants at the first Skyliner tower, one of the challenges was how to arrange the day-to-day delivery of materials to the site via Prosta Street.

“The construction of Skyliner II requires unique technical solutions due to its location in the vicinity of existing buildings, including other high-rise towers. Given the limited space of the construction site and the proximity of buildings as high as 195 m, we have to use tower cranes with a tilting jib to ensure safe manoeuvring in these conditions. We have installed one crane on the foundation slab and another one on the ground floor ceiling,” said Marcin Hoyer, Warbud SA Site Manager.

Work will now focus on erecting the ground-level structure, which will form the base for further phases of the project. The next phase will add a common podium of 4,500 sq. m which will connect the new tower to the first building of the Skyliner complex. Work will then begin on the construction of the standard floors, which will ultimately form a 28-storey structure providing modern office space in the very centre of Warsaw. The 130-metre-tall Skyliner II is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026.

Skyliner II was designed by the studio APA Wojciechowski Architekci. Project management on behalf of the investor is provided by Hill International. CBRE Poland’s team is responsible for the commercialisation of the second tower.

Karimpol Polska has signed the lease for the last vacant office space in Warsaw’s Skyliner office building. The tenant, which is one of Poland’s leading renewable energy developers, will lease approximately 1,500 sq. m, the entire 7^th floor of the building.

One of the seven tallest office buildings in Poland (195 m), Skyliner was completed in January 2021 as the first part of the office complex. It is BREEAM certified as Excellent and powered by 100 percent renewable energy. The total lettable office space of 45,000 sq. m has been fully leased. Karimpol has signed the lease for the last vacant space, the 7^th floor of the office building. The tenant was represented by CBRE. Skyliner is now home to 24 tenants in a range of industries, including global giants and local players.

Construction of the second phase of the complex at Daszyńskiego Roundabout has been underway since February 2023, with completion scheduled for the end of 2026. The second tower will be 130 metres high, with 28 floors and 24,000 sq. m of leasable space. Most of the usable space (23,000 sq. m) will be offices. Retail and service units on the ground floor of the building will occupy nearly 1,000 sq. m. The standard area of the office floor will be approximately 1,300 sq. m. The top floors of the building will feature terrace gardens with a total area of nearly 900 sq. m. Karimpol Polska is applying for a BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level and, as in the case of the first phase, plans to power the building with renewable energy. The main contractor for the investment project is WARBUD S.A., and the architectural design is the responsibility of the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio. The investor is supported in the lease of the second phase of the complex by the CBRE Polska team.

Good progress is being made on the construction of Skyliner II at Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw, the second phase of the office complex owned by Karimpol Polska. Since February 2024, a team of engineers and builders have been working hard to build solid foundations of the future skyscraper. WARBUD S.A., the chief contractor for the investment project, is responsible for all the work.

The structure of Skyliner II is for now stepping down, only to start climbing up very soon on its solid foundations. With advanced construction technologies, 33-metre-deep diaphragm walls have been built as well as 59 reinforced concrete barrettes as deep as 38 metres into the ground. These impressive deep foundation elements, together with 42 temporary steel columns, are critical for supporting the bracing slabs and foundation slabs of the building. The bottom slab varies from 1.9 metres to almost 5 metres in width, making the structure extremely robust and durable.

“The construction of Skyliner II requires not only technical expertise but also exceptional precision and planning due to the existing first phase of the project, Skyliner I, and the surrounding development. However, we are perfectly equipped to meet these requirements. We are satisfied with the current pace of the work and the high level of safety on the site,” said Szymon Zduńczyk, Management Board Member and Managing Director at Karimpol Polska.

The first phase of excavation is currently underway and will go 7.5 m deep. The work is extremely demanding as builders have to break through layers of embankments, clay and sand. The next phase is the construction of the bracing slab, which will enable further work 13 m deep to eventually reach 22 m deep.

“Although the Skyliner II tower is lower than its predecessor, its construction is much more complicated. The surrounding buildings and the existing traffic system pose a logistical challenge. We only have a single point of access to the site, and the organisation of the facilities is a genuine balancing act. The only cranes that can work under these conditions are tilting arm cranes with an integrated system to avoid collision with neighbouring buildings. A special challenge will come with the top part of the building and the double-height technical storeys topped with 15-metre-high slanted attic walls,” said Piotr Pikuła, Skyliner II Contract Director at Warbud SA.

Skyliner II is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026. The second tower will be 130 m high with 28 storeys and 24,000 sq. m of leasable space. Most of the usable space  (23,000 sq. m) will be dedicated to offices. The standard office floor area will be around 1,300 sq. m.  Retail and service units on the ground floor of the building will occupy nearly 1,000 sq. m. The top floors of the building will house terrace gardens with a total area of nearly 900 sq. m, connected by an external staircase. The terraces will be served by a lift. There will be a total of 10 lifts in the building: 7 main lifts, 2 garage lifts, and 1 fire lift. The two high-rise buildings of the Karimpol Group will be linked by a podium with a total of 4,500 sq. m dedicated to retail and service concepts available to tenants and local residents. A five-storey underground car park for 217 cars and 100 bicycles will be available in the new tower. Karimpol Polska will apply for a BREEAM Outstanding certificate and, as in the case of the first phase, is planning to power the building with renewable energy.

The architectural design is the responsibility of the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio. In the implementation of the second phase of Skyliner, the investor is supported by Hill International as project manager. CBRE is the exclusive agent for the lease of Skyliner II.

Warsaw’s Skyliner office building owned by Karimpol Polska will house the new headquarters of Process Solutions, a leader in business outsourcing. The tenant will use approximately 1,000 sq. m of space. Process Solutions will move to the new location in January 2025. With the new deal, Skyliner is now 95% leased.

Process Solutions is a provider of business outsourcing services. It has been present in Poland since 2008 as a member of an international group and provides top-level accounting and payroll services to major corporations around the world. The company specialises in comprehensive accounting, tax, bookkeeping, HR and payroll services and offers administrative management and consulting to clients. Process Solutions creates a dynamic working environment for over a hundred employees, supporting young professionals as well as experienced experts. The choice of new office space was a key part of planning of the company’s further development.

The tenant will occupy approximately 1,000 sq. m on the third floor of Skyliner, moving in early in 2025.

Skyliner I is now 95% leased. The remaining vacant space is available for lease. Meanwhile, the construction of Stage II of the complex at Daszyńskiego Roundabout is underway, proceeding according to plan, with completion scheduled for the end of 2026. The second tower will be 130 metres tall with 24,000 sq. m of space on 28 floors. Most of the usable space (23,000 sq. m) will be dedicated to offices. Karimpol Group’s flagship office building, Skyliner in Warsaw, has a new tenant. The US technology giant Xperi will move into the skyscraper at Daszyńskiego Roundabout. The company will occupy nearly 3,000 sq. m of space in Skyliner.

Xperi is a leading US provider of software for consumer electronics, state-of-the-art cars, and online movie and programme viewing platforms. The new office space will be home to employees developing products for brands such as TiVo, HD Radio, DTS, IMAX Enhanced, and Vewd. The corporation will occupy the fifth and sixth floors of Skyliner, totalling almost 3,000 sq. m. Xperi will move to the office building in Wola from Mokotów.

“We are counting on the location of the new office in Skyliner to increase the working comfort of our engineers and attract further leading industry professionals.
